About Inkroy
What is Inkroy?
Inkroy is an iPhone app that scores your short-form video edits with AI. Upload a TikTok, Reel, or Shorts edit and you get a score out of 100, a rarity tier, a per-category breakdown, and specific notes on what worked and what to fix, before you post it anywhere.
What platforms is it on?
iPhone first. Android comes after. There is no web version planned.
When does it launch?
It is in TestFlight now and moving toward the App Store. Join the Discord for launch updates and early access.
Is there a free version?
Your first analysis is free so you can see what it does. After that, scoring runs on credits that come with a Pro or Max plan.
Your edits and privacy
Is my video stored?
No. We pull only what we need to analyze the edit (keyframes, the audio for transcription, scene cuts) and delete the original video from our servers after processing, within minutes on success and within two hours in every case. We do not keep your videos. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy.
Who can see my edits?
Only you. Inkroy does not publish, post, or show your edits to anyone else. They live in your account and nowhere public.
Do you use my edits to train AI?
No. We do not use your content to train any AI model, ours or a third party's, and we do not sell your data.
Scores
How is the score calculated?
Eight craft dimensions of your edit are scored and composited into one number out of 100, then a second AI agent quality-checks the result before you ever see it.
Why did I get a low score?
A low score is feedback, not a verdict. Open the breakdown to see which categories pulled it down and the exact notes on what to change. That is the part that actually improves the next edit.
Does the score predict views?
No. The score rates the craft of the edit. It does not predict or guarantee how a post will do on TikTok, Reels, or Shorts. Treat it as a coaching signal, not a forecast.
Plans, credits, and billing
What do Pro and Max cost?
Pro is $9.99 a month and includes 3,000 credits. Max is $29.99 a month and includes 12,000 credits. Pricing is shown on the paywall before you buy, and your first analysis is free.
What are credits?
Each analysis costs credits based on how long the edit is, from 100 credits for a short edit up to 450 for a longer one. Your plan refreshes to its credit allotment each billing period, and the exact cost is shown before you confirm an analysis.
Do credits roll over?
No. Credits reset at the start of each billing period and any unused credits do not carry over.
How do I cancel?
Manage or cancel anytime on your iPhone under Settings, your name, Subscriptions. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
How do refunds work?
Apple handles all subscription refunds. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds directly because we never touch your payment.
I changed phones. How do I get my subscription back?
Tap Restore Purchases on the paywall while signed in with the same Apple ID you subscribed with.
Your account and data
How do I sign in?
Sign in with Apple or Google. We never see or store a password.
How do I delete my account and data?
In the app, go to Settings, Delete account. That permanently removes your analyses, credit balance, and profile. To also stop billing, cancel the subscription separately through your Apple ID. You can also clear just your analyses under Settings, Clear all analyses.
How do I request a copy of my data?
Email privacy@inkroy.com and we will help with access, correction, or deletion requests.
Troubleshooting
My analysis is stuck or failed.
Most failures are a weak connection or an unsupported file. Try again on Wi-Fi with a standard .mp4 or .mov. A failed analysis does not burn a credit. If it keeps happening, email us with the rough time it happened and we will look into it.
I did not get my free analysis.
The free analysis is one per device. If you reinstalled or it did not show up, email us and we will sort it out.
Sign-in is not working.
Make sure you are using the same Apple or Google account as before. If you are still stuck, email us and we will help.
